By accessing or utilizing the official digital portal of Sports Goods & Toys Export Promotion Council (SGEPC) at sportsgoodsindia.org or any associated member application, API, or service, you ("User", "Member Unit", or "Exporter") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable circulars, Foreign Trade Policies, and statutes enacted by the Government of India.

If you do not agree with or cannot comply with any portion of these Terms, you must immediately cease accessing this portal and its member facilities.

Sports Goods & Toys Export Promotion Council (SGEPC) is an apex non-profit organization established in 1958 under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The Council's principal mandate includes:

• Promoting, fostering, and developing the export of Indian sports goods, toys, recreational merchandise, and related products globally.
• Issuance, verification, and statutory endorsement of Registration-cum-Membership Certificates (RCMC) in accordance with DGFT guidelines.
• Organizing Indian national pavilions at renowned international trade fairs, exhibitions, and Buyer-Seller Meets (BSMs) under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) scheme.
• Disseminating trade intelligence, export circulars, tariff analysis, and Foreign Trade Policy developments to registered members.
• Maintaining the National Exporter Directory to connect verified Indian manufacturers with international importers.

Registered exporters and members are granted access to dedicated digital services including the Exporter Dashboard, Quarterly Export Return filing, and company profile management. Users agree to:

• Provide true, accurate, current, and complete corporate, financial, and product information at all times.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of account login credentials and accept full accountability for all actions conducted under their account.
• Promptly update any material alteration in company constitution, partnership deeds, directors, factory premises, or authorized signatories.
• Abstain from introducing viruses, trojans, worms, or any automated scraping mechanisms targeting council servers.

SGEPC publishes member profiles, product categories, export destinations, and contact details in good faith to stimulate genuine export transactions between Indian enterprises and overseas buyers.

In accordance with the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) formulated by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), registration as an exporter under SGEPC requires compliance with the following rules:

• All new applications, amendments, and annual renewals of RCMC must be processed online through the DGFT Common Digital Platform (https://www.dgft.gov.in/CP/).
• Applicants must possess a valid Importer-Exporter Code (IEC) and active GSTIN.
• Annual council membership subscriptions are due on the 1st of April each financial year and must be settled within statutory timelines to prevent RCMC suspension or de-registration.
• All membership fees paid to SGEPC are non-refundable once membership verification or RCMC issuance has commenced.

All intellectual assets residing on this portal, including but not limited to the SGEPC trade name, official crest, logos, databases, compilation of trade statistics, reports, circular summaries, and layout design, are the sole and exclusive property ofSports Goods & Toys Export Promotion Council, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999 of India.

No entity or individual may replicate, retransmit, license, or exploit council insignia or publications for commercial gain without explicit prior written authorization from the Committee of Administration (COA).

While the Council takes every reasonable precaution to verify information on circulars, customs notifications, RoDTEP rates, and trade statistics, all data is provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Official gazette notifications published by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, DGFT, or Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) shall supersede any portal summaries in the event of variance.

SGEPC, its office-bearers, members of the COA, and secretariat staff shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential loss arising from reliance on portal data or temporary service interruptions.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of India.

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to council membership, portal utilization, or elections, the courts situated in New Delhi, India shall possess sole and exclusive territorial jurisdiction.

SGEPC reserves the unilateral right to amend, update, or supersede these Terms and Conditions at any time in response to amendments in government trade policies, council resolutions, or administrative directives. Notice of material modifications will be posted prominently on the portal.
